Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 8 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- lukewarm water - 1/4 c
- cakes yeast - 2 item
How to make refrigerator rolls:
Mix boiling water, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon sugar. Add yeast to first mixture and then add beaten eggs. Stir in 4 cups flour and beat thoroughly. Stir in 4 more cups of flour. Do not knead!! May be kept for several days in the refrigerator if it is tightly covered.
