- cup buttermilk - 1 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- tsp baking soda - 1 item
- tsp cocoa - 2 item
- oz red food coloring - 1 item
- cups cake flour - 2-1/2 item
- cups Wesson Oil - 1-3/4 item
How to make red velvet cake:
Beat Wesson Oil and sugar; add eggs one at a time while beating. Mix cocoa, vinegar and food coloring in a small bowl or cup. Mix in flour and buttermilk; add salt, vanilla and baking soda. Bake in 325 degree oven for 35-45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, American.
