Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 2 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• vinegar - 1 tsp
• plain flour
• red food coloring - 2 oz
• sticks butter - 2 item

How to make red velvet cake:

Cream sugar and butter together and add eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and food coloring and add to the first mixture. Beat in part of the flour, milk and salt. Add the remaining flour and remaining ingredients, putting the soda and vinegar in last. Bake
