- Wesson oil - 1 c
- Icing:1 box powdered sugar
How to make red velvet cake:
Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 stick butter1 Tbsp. vanilla1 c. pecans Mix eggs, sugar, oil, cocoa, vinegar and vanilla together. Add buttermilk and food coloring. Stir until mixed. Then add flour and soda. Stir until mixed well. Pour in cake pans and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Icing: Soften butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla and powdered sugar; mix. Add pecans. Spread on cake.
