- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- red food coloring - 1 or
- Crisco oil - 1 c
- sweet milk - 1 c
- Bake at 350° for 25 minutes
How to make red velvet cake:
Cream together first 3 ingredients, then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Icing:1/4 c. flour1 c. sweet milk1 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt1 c. coconut Add milk and flour; heat until thickens. Set aside to cool.
