Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- finely cut raw cooking apples - 2 c
How to make raw apple cake:
Cream together sugars and shortening. Add eggs and milk; mix well. Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add creamed mixture. Mix well. Add apples. Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle a mixture of white and brown sugar and cinnamon over top. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
