Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1/2 c
- lukewarm milk - 2 c
- pinch of baking soda - 1 item
- melted butter or oil - 1/2 c
How to make raised waffles:
Put first 2 ingredients in large mixing bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Add next 4 ingredients. Beat in flour. Cover the bowl. Let stand overnight or at least 8 hours (but not in refrigerator). When time to cook the waffles, add last 2 ingredients. Beat well. The batter will be very thin. Cook on a waffle iron.
