Quick and easy nutty cheese bars

Ingredients/Components

• pkg - 2 oz
• brown sugar, packed - 1 c
• margarine or butter, melted - 3/4 c
• box Duncan Hines butter recipe golden cake mix - 1 item
• chopped pecans, divided into 3/4 c

How to make quick and easy nutty cheese bars:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Stir together until well mixed the dry cake mix, margarine or butter and 3/4 cup pecans. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of prepared pan.

Stir together in bowl with a spoon until well mixed, the brown sugar and cream cheese. Spread topping evenly over base. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup pecans. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are browned. Cool completely and let topping set before cutting into bars. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
