Pumpkin squares

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 2/3 c
• butter - 1/4 c
• egg - 1 item
• butter, melted - 1/2 c
• yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
• 1 lb
• reserved cake mix

How to make pumpkin squares:

Filling:3 c. (1 lb. 14 oz.) pumpkin pie mix2 eggs2/3 c. milk Topping:1 c. reserved cake mix1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. butter Grease bottom only of 13 x 9-inch pan. Reserve 1 cup cake mix for topping. Combine remaining cake mix, butter and egg. Press into pan.

Prepare filling by combining all ingredients. (Tip: For use with 1 pound solid pack pumpkin, add 2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice and 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar. Prepare as directed.) Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes until knife inserted into middle comes out clean. If desired, serve with whipped topping.
