  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 3 4
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pumpkin - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • sifted confectioners sugar - 3 c
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • or 4 drops of orange oil - 3 item

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Mix Crisco and sugar together; add pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.Icing for Cookies:1/3 c. oleo3 c. sifted confectioners sugar3 to 4 Tbsp. milk3 or 4 drops of orange oil Cream together butter and sugar; add milk and oil. Stir until smooth.
