  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • pumpkin - 1 c
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • raisins - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Mix together sugar, shortening and pumpkin. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix into pumpkin mixture. Add vanilla, nuts and raisins. Stir well. Bake at 375° until browned.
