- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Wesson oil
- pumpkin canned
- Sift together next 4 ingredients
How to make pumpkin cake:
Cream together first 4 ingredients. Sift together next 4 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture and then add vanilla. Mix all ingredients well. Bake in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan for 45 to 55 minutes in a 350° oven. Can be baked in two 9-inch pans for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and ice.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick margarine1 box powdered sugar2 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Cream the cheese and margarine. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans.
