  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • cooked prunes - 1 c

How to make prune cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix all dry ingredients, except soda, and add soda to buttermilk. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately. Fold in prunes, nuts and vanilla.

Bake in a Bundt pan at 350° about an hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
