Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- cooked prunes - 1 c
How to make prune cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix all dry ingredients, except soda, and add soda to buttermilk. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately. Fold in prunes, nuts and vanilla.Bake in a Bundt pan at 350° about an hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
