Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Karo - 2 tsp
- mashed prunes I use 2 jars baby prunes - 1 c
- Add vanilla and eggs
How to make prune cake:
Combine sugar and oil. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift together flour, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, soda and salt. Alternate dry ingredients with buttermilk into batter. Add nuts and prunes. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.Icing:1 c. sugar1 stick oleo2 tsp.
