Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- frozen strawberries - 2 pt
- strawberry Jell-O - 2 pkg
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- pretzels, crushed - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Mix pretzels, sugar and butter. Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes; set aside to cool. Cream cream cheese, add sugar and mix well. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over pretzels. Cool.Make strawberry Jell-O as directed on package; add in frozen strawberries and set in refrigerator.
When thickened, pour over cream cheese layer. Put back in fridge and serve when solid; cut in squares.
