Pretzel jello salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- pkg - 6 oz
- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 2 c
- margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- frozen sliced strawberries - 20 oz
- bite size pretzels, crushed - 2 c
How to make pretzel jello salad:
Combine pretzels, margarine and 2 tablespoons sugar in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish and mix well. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Let cool completely.Mix together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over the pretzel crust, sealing the crust. Dissolve the jello in boiling water. Add the frozen strawberries, stirring until the strawberries are thawed. Pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.
This is a family favorite, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas!
