Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- sticks butter - 3 item
- almond flavoring - 1 tsp
- flour 2 of cake flour, 1 of all-purpose - 3 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar; cream well. Beat in 6 eggs, one at a time. Add sifted flour and flavorings. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Put in cold oven; set at 350°. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Test with a toothpick to see if done. (Have butter, cream cheese and eggs at room temperature.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
