Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• milk - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 lb
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• cake flour - 3 c

How to make pound cake:

Combine Crisco and butter. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder together. Alternately add flour and milk. Then add vanilla. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325° or until done.
