- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- large eggs - 5 item
- sticks butter soft - 2 item
- Swans Down cake flour
How to make pound cake:
Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Add flour and milk alternately, ending with flour. Bake at 325° in greased and floured or sprayed tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
