  • eggs - 5 item
  • cake flour - 3 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • lemon flavoring - 2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Mix Crisco and butter until smooth. Then add sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder together. Rotate flour mixture and milk, then add flavorings. Mix until all is smooth. Bake in cold oven at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
