  • sugar - 3 c
  • sifted cake flour - 3 c
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Have all ingredients at room temperature before starting. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla, flour and whipping cream alternately; begin with flour and end with flour. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours. Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
