Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• plain flour
• Crisco
• milk sweet - 1 c

How to make pound cake:

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat thoroughly. Stir dry ingredients; add alternately with milk. Add vanilla; blend well. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
