Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco
  • sweet milk

How to make pound cake:

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to other ingredients. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.
