Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- potatoes, sliced - 10 item
- onions, sliced - 5 item
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- bacon - 2 lb
How to make potatoes and onions:
Put oil and bacon in a 12-inch Dutch oven. Cook until almost done. Add potatoes and onions. Sprinkle on plenty of salt and pepper. Cook 30 minutes. Check often and stir as needed. Drain off grease. Sprinkle cheese over top during the last 5 minutes of cooking.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
