Ingredients/Components
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- sticks celery - 3 item
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
- large carrot - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled - 3 item
- Portuguese sausage - 1 item
- cans water using tomato sauce can - 2 item
- string beans, chopped 1-inch long - 6 item
How to make portuguese bean soup:
In large pot, boil Portuguese sausage in water and tomato sauce. Dice carrot, celery and potatoes; add to pot. Add kidney beans and string beans; bring to boil. Boil on medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add cabbage. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, Pork.
