Ingredients/Components

  • pork chops cut 1/2" thick - 4 item
  • cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
  • small onion chopped - 1 item
  • can Cream of Mushroom Soup - 1/2 item
  • water - 2 c
  • Worcestershire - 1 tsp
  • Salt and Pepper to taste - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 1 item

How to make pork chops in mushroom sauce:

Season chops with salt and pepper. Coat well with flour. In a skillet heat oil and brown chops on both sides. Remove chops & place on platter. Cook onion in drippings until tender. Add mushroom soup and water. Stir well to mix all ingredients in skillet together. When this mixture comes to a boil add pork chops. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 1 hour. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire Sauce. Serve with cookjed rice or mashed potatoes.
