Porcupine meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- hamburger - 1 lb
- celery salt - 1/3 tsp
- uncooked, regular rice - 1/2 c
How to make porcupine meatballs:
Mix hamburger, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salts and pepper. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls into balls. Cook meatballs in skillet until brown on all sides; drain.Mix remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add water during cooking if necessary.
