Popcorn crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- raw peanuts - 1 c
- Karo - 1/2 c
- popcorn, popped - 2 qt
How to make popcorn crunch:
Melt butter and Karo; mix with sugar. Blend together and bring to a boil. Add pecans and peanuts. Boil over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over 2 quarts popped corn. Mix thoroughly. Spread lightly on oil paper to cool. Break into pieces. Store in air-tight container.From Miss Mary F. Harpole, Home Economist, Charleston.
