Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- chopped dates - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 5 item
- hot milk - 1/2 c
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- bread crumbs
- seeded raisins - 1 c
- chopped suet - 1 c
- currants - 1 c
- chopped citron - 1/2 c
How to make plum pudding:
Mix all ingredients and half fill a mold or a 9 x 5 x 2-inch loaf pan. Steam for 4 hours. Cool and chill. Reheat for serving with butter. Keep in the refrigerator.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, < 15 mins.
