Pizzaburgers
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- ground sausage - 1/2 lb
- grated Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan or Cheddar cheese for topping - 1 item
- whole hamburger buns - 8 item
How to make pizzaburgers:
Brown sausage, drain off grease. Add beef and finish browning with onion; drain again. Add tomato sauce and seasonings to saucepan and simmer 15 minutes. Toast tops of split buns under broiler. Place hot meat mixture on split sides of buns, to the edge. Top with grated cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts. Serve immediately, open-faced.
