  • cream cheese - 1 pkg
  • milk
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
  • bananas - 3 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • instant vanilla pudding
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 item
  • pecans optional - 1/2 c
  • coconut optional - 3/4 c

How to make pineapple wonder cake:

Bake cake as directed on package in 8 1/2 x 13-inch pan. Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over cake while it is still hot. Cool.

Mix cream cheese, milk and pudding until smooth. Spread over cake and pineapple. Slice bananas and layer over cream cheese mixture. Add optional items. Frost with Cool Whip. Refrigerate. Serves 16.
