  • granulated sugar - 1/3 c
  • water - 1/3 c
  • lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • egg white - 1 item
  • nonfat dry milk powder - 1/2 c
  • can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 oz

How to make pineapple alaska:

In a small electric mixing bowl, combine egg white, water and nonfat dry milk powder. Beat at high speed until stiff enough to hold shape. Reduce to low speed and gradually add granulated sugar and lemon juice. Return to high speed and continue beating
