  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • oleo, melted - 4 Tbsp
  • pineapple juice - 1/2 c
  • egg whites, beaten - 3 item
  • can sliced pineapple, drained - 1 item

How to make pineapple upside-down cake:

Arrange the oleo, brown sugar and pineapple in a large, round baking dish. In a bowl, mix the sugar, pineapple juice, egg yolks, flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour on top of pineapple. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
