Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- oleo, melted - 4 Tbsp
- pineapple juice - 1/2 c
- egg whites, beaten - 3 item
- can sliced pineapple, drained - 1 item
How to make pineapple upside-down cake:
Arrange the oleo, brown sugar and pineapple in a large, round baking dish. In a bowl, mix the sugar, pineapple juice, egg yolks, flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour on top of pineapple. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
