- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 3 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- Equal - 5 pkg
- 8-inch graham cracker crust - 1 item
- can unsweetened pineapple tidbits reserve the juice - 1 oz
How to make pineapple cheese pie:
Blend the cream cheese with the egg, 3 packages Equal and 2 teaspoons reserved pineapple juice. Pour into crust and bake for 20 minutes at 350°. Cool.Combine pineapple, remaining juice and cornstarch in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and translucent. Remove from heat; add 2 packages Equal and vanilla. Spread pineapple mixture over cheese filling and chill. Yields 8 servings. Exchanges: 1 fruit, 1/2 bread and 3 1/2 fat. Contains 253 calories.
