Pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- 2 can crushed pineapple
- stick butter, softened - 1 item
How to make pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting:
Mix sugar, flour, baking soda and walnuts in a bowl. Make a well and add 2 eggs (beaten), 1 can pineapple (including juice) and vanilla (1 teaspoon). Mix with a spoon just to blend. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 40 minutes. Let cool.Frost with: Mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar and whip thoroughly with mixer. Top with a few chopped nuts.
