Pickled okra
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 6 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- vinegar - 3 c
- clove garlic per jar - 1 item
- heads dill or dill seed - 12 item
- chili pepper per jar, optional - 1 item
How to make pickled okra:
Wash and drain okra. Prick with a fork and pack in jar. Place dill, garlic and chili pepper in jars. Boil wate rand vinegar. Add salt. Pour over the okra-packed jars. Seal with lids and boil in water bath for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: American, North american, Kwanzaa.
