German potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- potatoes - 3 lb
- mustard optional
- medium onion diced - 1 item
- diced bacon - 1 lb
How to make german potato salad:
Wash potatoes (do not peel). Cover with water and boil about 25 minutes, until tender. Peel, cut in half and slice thin. Brown bacon in pan. Remove bacon. Saute onion in bacon fat until soft, not brown. Stir in flour until smooth. Add vinegar, waterRecipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Potato.
