Persimmon bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cooking oil - 4 Tbsp
- raisins - 2 c
- nuts, chopped - 2 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- persimmon pulp - 2 c
How to make persimmon bread:
Mix sugar, flour, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Beat eggs in another bowl. Add oil, milk and pulp. Mix together. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into prepared loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Quick breads.
