Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
How to make perfect meringue:
Beat egg whites and cold water at high speed one minute (until stiff but not dry). Add cream of tartar and salt and beat one minute at high speed. Add sugar gradually and beat one more minute at high speed. Spread on pie and bake 15 minutes at 350Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
