Ingredients/Components
- water
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- rice - 1 item
- flank steak - 1 to
- brown gravy mix - 1 pkg
How to make pepper steak:
Thinly slice flank steak, diagonally. Brown with onion in oil. Stir in mixture of brown gravy mix, 1 1/4 cups water and soy sauce. Stir until thickened. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add 2 large green peppers, cut in thin strips and 1 large tomato (if desired), cut in wedges. Simmer 10 minutes and serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
