Pepper relish
Ingredients/Components
- green peppers - 12 item
- red peppers - 12 item
- medium onions - 12 item
- vinegar
- sugar - 3 c
- salt - 3 Tbsp
- or 2 hot peppers if desired - 1 item
How to make pepper relish:
Remove seeds from peppers. Grind and mix with ground onions. Pour boiling water over this and let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Mix vinegar, sugar and salt. Let come to a boil. Add other ingredients and boil 10 minutes. Pack in sterile, hot jars. Makes about 9 pints.Recipe categories: Sauces, Salsas, Jams and preserves.
