- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- sticks butter - 2 item
- pecan pieces
- Filling:2 eggs
How to make pecan tarts:
Filling:2 eggs1 1/2 c. pecan pieces1 tsp. vanilla dash of salt1 1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. melted butter Cream butter and cheese well. Add flour. Mix well. Chill 1 hour.Filling: Melt butter in small pan. Add sugar and eggs. Mix well. Add salt and vanilla. Mix. Add pecans. Mix well. Add filling to dough that has been put in small tart pans. Fill 1/2 full. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Makes about 50 tarts.
