Pecan sandies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- water - 2 tsp
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
How to make pecan sandies:
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter and sugar; add water and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and pecans. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Shape into balls or fingers. Bake in ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (325°) for about 20 minutes. Cool slightly; roll in confectioners sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
