Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- large eggs, beaten - 3 item
- dash salt - 1 item
- light Karo - 1 c
- or 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 8 item
How to make pecan pie:
Brown butter in saucepan until it is golden brown. Be careful not to burn; let cool. In separate bowl add ingredients in order listed; stir. Blend in butter well and put in pie shell. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; lower to 325° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
