Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- caramels - 28 item
How to make pecan pie:
Heat caramels, water and butter in double boiler. Add together sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs, then add this to caramel mixture. Add pecans, then pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400°, then reduce to 350° and bake 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
