  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • dark corn syrup - 1 c
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pecan pieces or halves - 1 c
  • 8 or 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

In bowl, combine all ingredients except pecans and beat well by hand until thoroughly combined. Place pecans in unbaked pie shell and pour liquid ingredients over top. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until set. May serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
