Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- coarsely chopped nuts - 3 c
- eggs, beaten slightly - 5 item
- Karo corn syrup
- frozen unbaked 9-inch pie crusts or favorite homemade recipe - 2 item
- light brown sugar or white
How to make pecan pie:
Mix eggs, syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Add pecans. Divide into 2 pie shells. Bake at 350° about 50 minutes. Check after 40 minutes frequently. Wait until golden brown and let set but not "too" brown. May serve with unsweetened whipped cream. Great for holidays.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
