Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pecans
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
How to make pecan pie:
Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, beat again, then add Karo syrup, salt, vanilla and nuts. Place in uncooked crust and dot generously with butter. Cook about 10 minutes in hot oven at 425°, reduce heat to 325°. Continue cooking until done, about 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
