Pecan fingers
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- 10x sugar - 3/4 c
- shortening, softened - 3/4 c
How to make pecan fingers:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream shortening and 10x sugar. Blend in 1 1/2 cups flour. Press evenly in bottom of ungreased baking pan (12 x 9 x 2-inch). Bake 12 to 15 minutes.Mix remaining ingredients. Spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool. Cut into bars (3 x 1-inch).
