Pecan drops

Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1/2 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• pecan halves
• egg white - 1 item

How to make pecan drops:

Beat egg white until stiff. Stir. Add sugar, salt and pecan halves. Pick out each pecan with a fork and place on buttered baking sheet one inch apart. Bake 1/2 hour at 275° or until thoroughly dry.

Walnuts may also be used.
